What's In A (Movie) Name! - From a decade ago.

This is the story of a girl named JUNO after the Greek God. Her birth brought so much joy in her family that she was called LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE. She was born in a hospital off THE REVOLUTIONARY ROAD which lead to a place so troubled that is was NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. So her parents put her in a school in SILENT HILL, where she stayed in a HOSTEL. This they did following rumors that in their own due to the ongoing feud, THERE WILL BE BLOOD.
Juno lived a normal uneventful life under the care of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, 16 BLOCKS away from THE TERMINAL. Her caretakers looked after her very well and took great pains to prevent her from the influences of STREET KINGS and THE DARK KNIGHT, and to put her in the company of A FEW GOOD MEN.
It became her favorite pastime to watch scenic beauty and to indulge in TRAINSPOTTING. She would sit and try to solve the world’s mysteries, wondering why ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST, pondering WHAT LIES BENEATH, where THE FINAL DESTINATION of life was and so on. In her quest for answers she frequently visited the library and was fondly called THE READER.
One fine day her parents received a call. At the other end was Juno’s excited voice screaming gleefully, “Mom, it’s MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING, and it’s in AUSTRALIA, and all we friends are going there in a cruiser called TITANIC in memory of the original ship. Once we reach, we’ll be travelling in a car called GRAN’ TORINO built by Ford in 1972. Gosh! I’m so happy mummy!” she said.
Unfortunately for all those who thought she would finish the trip and return to her life, that was not to be. She was fascinated by the continent and with the lives of the Aborigines. She dug deeper into the atrocities committed against them and said to herself, “THE GODS MUST BE CARZY to this to their own creations.” Determined to do something for them she spoke to a government official whose response was so vile that she exclaimed, “LIAR, LIAR!” 28 DAYS LATER she stumbled upon THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON, one of the natives, regarding which she spoke to a Dr. No.
Despite all her efforts, not much changed in the scheme of things, depression set in. Her’s was A BEAUTIFUL MIND, so harried now. But the mental strength she possessed would compel her to NEVER BACK DOWN. Deciding to take a break before restarting her fight, she sent a telegram to her parents which simply said, “VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA.” Intelligent as they were, her parents clearly comprehended the message as an excursion of hers with her friends Vicky and Cristina in Barcelona.
The change of environment provided her with a QUANTUM OF SOLACE. The serene surroundings and the prevailing calm, along with THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS restored THE PRESTIGE she had lost and feelings of DOUBT which had crept into her mind.
Wanting to do something symbolic for THE DEPARTED, she decided to wander INTO THE WILD to get a feel of their rough lives. On the first day, she left the room quietly in the TWILIGHT time. She planned to HITCH till around the 8 MILE mark, by which time she had thought SOMETHING’S GOTTA GIVE.
Strains of the journey almost had her CHANGING LANES. She had lost about SEVEN POUNDS in as many days. But lady luck smiled at her and a philanthropist locally famous as THE TRANSPORTER offered his help. His presence helped her overcome the TREMORS along the path with ease. But fate was to be cruel to them after that. They unknowingly took a WRONG TURN, where they came across two arguing men and TWELVE MONKEYS. They were so aggressive, they virtually blocked the road.
The commotion forced Juno and The Transporter to stop their vehicle. As they got out, they heard one of them say, ‘if a book were to be written on your life, it would be titled THE LEGEND OF THE DRUNKRN MONKEY.’ The other, who was relatively sober retorted, ‘all I asked you was, DUDE, WHERE’S MY CAR? You should have answered it straight and this fight would never occur.’ Being the kind hearted woman that she was, young Ms Juno moved toward them. Her aide followed a few steps behind. But it was only after the drunkard fished out a gun from his pocket that they realized this was an AMBUSH. The assailant came close to them and took the vehicle keys with a cruel SNATCH. They watched helplessly and angrily as THE HIGHWAYMEN instructed one another to STEAL the beloved vehicle.
With nothing else to be done Juno and The Transporter walked for hours together. They had decided to file a complaint at the first police station that they would come across. Finally they came across an eerie building with a board that simply said, P13. They entered and were relieved to find out that it was the 13th Precinct of the local jurisdiction. They were explaining THE HAPPENINGS to the policeman in charge when there were gunshots and explosions. CHAOS spread everywhere and a gradual metamorphosis occurred converting the loudness into a DEAD SILENCE. Headlines in the newspapers which came THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW said, “ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13.”
Such was the cruelty and injustice of destiny that a woman working for people’s betterment had to die a cruel and painful death. Obituaries poured from everywhere. She was hailed as a VALKYRIE, as a woman with THE TOUCH that would heal. But alas, a section of people who hated her exclaimed, “She had to DIE HARD, it was warranted.” In the funeral service her father said, “I only feel sad that IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT when she wandered BEHIND ENEMY LINES in THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS.”
